Vintage USAF Gentex HGU 26/P Dual Visor Helmet. It’s in very nice condition complete with Oxygen mask and house with all fasteners present. Ear piece and inside wiring intact still. The helmet has the cloth liner in good shape as well as the foam barrier. (see detailed pics for actual condition)Most importantly it belonged to Veteran Decorated Desert Storm & Shield LTC..John W. Butcher. Trained Fighter Pilot and a graduate from the U.S. Air Force Academy where he was chosen for the highly regarded F~16 Test Program. Only the top students were given the opportunity to participate. Went on to become Decorated Command Pilot in Tours both Desert Storm & Shield. Has over 3,300 hours in military air refueling and mobility aircraft, commanding operational forces worldwide at multiple levels throughout his career. He is an air refueling operations guru.
