We obtained this patch from a private collection that contained many finished patches and more importantly
drawings, mock-ups, clipped samples and a few single patches that were supposedly made for production samples.
The seller told us this sample patch was for the crew jackets...MAYBE.  We are not experts on this topic.
The patch is made up of brilliant colored threads and is nicely stitched with clean separation between
characters (none of the telltale strings between letters and images common in overseas made patches)
The reverse shows 3 layers used in construction.   The edges of the patch are not finished, hence they have some minor fraying.
