Vintage borderless double weight reference photograph of Jean Gabin and Jacqueline Laurent from the 1939 film. "C. Comercial Radiolux Amanece" stamp and annotations in holographic red and blue pencil on verso.
Francois (Gabin), pursued by the police, has barricaded himself in a room at the top of a building after shooting and killing the Machiavellian Valentin (Jules Berry) over their mutual love interest Francoise (Laurent).
Remade in 1947 as "The Long Night," directed by Anatole Litvak, and starring Henry Fonda and Barbara Bel Geddes.
7.75 x 9.75 inches. Very Good plus, with some light creasing.
