    EFI Technology AC1i, AC2i, AC3i, AC5i.

This is a non OEM part, manufactured by us specially to resolve immobilizer issues with older scooters.
Check the part number on your existing CDI unit or Ask a Question through eBay.
    Includes
    Replacement CDI Unit (No immobilizer)
If you are having problems with your scooters immobiliser or have a CDI fault (no spark, or won't rev) then this is the simplest solution. Once fitted you will no longer require a key with a built in chip. The scooter will
    NOT HAVE AN IMMOBILISER
    .
Please check that there are no other issues with your ignition system first, this will only solve your problems if they are CDI related!
This CDI unit replaces all the functions of the original CDI unit, except your scooter will no longer have an Immobilizer. No need for a chip key.
You can change your key and barrel and the scooter will still run
    .
    INSTRUCTIONS:
Remove the body work to gain access to your Vespa Piaggio CDI unit. Disconnect the two connectors from the existing Cdi and then remove the unit by undoing the two bolts. Plug the replacement CDI into the larger of the two connectors, the smaller connector is no longer required. Mount the new CDI and wiring into the frame or bodywork using one of the existing bolts. Re-attach your bodywork and off you go!
    WARNING:
Many aftermarket CDI units have the same outer appearance because many manufacturers use the same outer casing. However, the inner workings, most importantly the Spark Timing, can vary by up to 30 degrees between manufacturers and the application that the cdi is intended for. We have imported the Cdi unit you are buying here specifically because it has a timing curve suitable for small 4 Stroke scooter engines, as fitted to LEADER engined Vespa / Piaggio scooters.
All CDi units are tested on a working scooter prior to despatch to ensure they are working.
