    Description

    This is a 5 pc lot of 829B transmitting tubes. All are JAN tubes, made for the US military.
    This type is equivalent to 3E29 and the Russian GU29.
    829B is a dual Beam Power Tetrode, suitable for VHF and pulse applications. They are sometimes used as audio power amps and modulators.
    Four of these are Ken-Rad brand, labeled JAN CKR 829B.
    One is National Union brand, labeled JAN CNU 829B.
    The National Union tube has a darker look, this is the getter flashing. It does not look burnt.
    These are from the estate of a SK ham. They were in original WWII era JAN boxes, but the boxes were very brittle and have disintegrated.
    I am selling as used, because I have no way to test them. I do not think the ham who owned these would have kept them if they were not good.
