Ethel Merman didn’t make many movies, but 1954’s “There’s No Business Like Show Business”
was among the best and this Decca soundtrack album proves why, with Ethel singing the best
Irving Berlin has to offer in a frequently corny but nonetheless engaging backstage story.
Donald O’Connor, Mitzi Gaynor, and Dan Dailey are also featured but the film’s other star,
namely Marilyn Monroe, is not. No matter, this is the Merm’s deal all the way and autographed
by Miss Merman herself, making the album even more spectacular.  This item was obtained by
a longtime Merman fan who asked us to sell it for her and we are glad to this for her as she was
a fan of Ms. Merman for literally decades!
