    Blytheville Air Force Base, Arkansas
    under the 97th Bombardment Wing
    The squadron was inactivated, likely
    in 1966, when it was redesignated as
    the 97th Secusrity Police Squadron
    (when redesignated, a tab noting
    97th SPS was placed on the top
    of the emblem
    This patch was made in 1960
    The squadron provided security
    for aircraft assigned to the 340th,
    341st and 342nd Bombardment
    Squadrons who flew B-52 aircraft
    operating under the 97th BW
