Gorgeous Antique Silk Drapes Curtains Panels.
This comes in a set of 4 stunning panels Magnificent high quality silk
and the slanted base ones are extremely long which are more difficult to come by due to this age.
Each Panel is Lined and the set (2 Panels) having a slant at each base-- having an addition inner lining.
The slanted base set has a beautiful, well done, quality upper gathering as shown.
The fronts remain lovely due to their age other then musty and the linings are tea stained
and several spotting however the front sides remain lovely for their age.
The other matching pair having the
straight bases
across and the upper having a pinch pleat as shown.
Soiled at the base however can be hidden well within the folds.
On this set with the straight base on one panel only-- there is fraying --
as shown by my hand inside the fraying and it continues from
upper to lower base
however
not
on the matching panel of this.  The lining is soiled and tea stained in a charming way.
This entire set is Magnificent and gorgeous and the silk is of highest quality.
The color background is cream having small flowers of raspberry-peach surrounded by green color
and the entire set is a Trellis like pattern from far back.
This will surely adorn any room and give an illusion of richness to any window or bed surroundings.
