Actual mileage unknown.
This beautiful car, aside from the updated engine and trans, really qualifies as an older restoration as opposed to a
restoMOD
. Obviously held true to the original.
Mostly original with period correct upgrades.
In 1947, this Cadillac was arguably the top rung in luxury and drivability. No exception here.
Most of the last few years it has been a daily driver, and has NO ISSUES.
I can go on and on about what a great piece this is. If you are serious about this type of vehicle, feel free to give me a call. I truly enjoy talking to serious car people about these.
I will say that it IS NOT absolutely perfect.
The paint does have some checking, while great for personality, not great for perfection.
The original Steering Wheel has a couple of cracks, still too cool to replace.
The stainless and chrome  trim, inside and out, is Excellent. As well as the original
Bakelite (???) inside.
The whole interior is. The one exception is the package tray behind the back seat, discolored but undamaged otherwise, and easily changed if you like. Again, kept in favor of originality and personality.
I have more pics, and some great stories about "Rosebud". (License plate frames stay here).
Like I said, if you are serious, get in contact. I would love to see this car go to someone that
appreciates
all that it is.
The original engine was a 346 Monobloc  Flathead engine with 150 Horsepower. It's been replaced with and overhead valve engine and transmission from a 1950 Cadillac with 190 Horsepower.
Starts easy and every time.

Solid as can be with no rust issues, inside the doors, the trunk, the floors are fantastic. Obviously well cared for since Day 1.
