    Description

Here for sale is a very rare indeed 1942 Cadillac Series 6733 Imperial 7-Passenger Limousine with the rare partition/divider window.  This classy 40's limo is very rare with only 190 produced.  This limo runs and drives well.  Only 55,133 miles on it and the speedometer, trip meter, and odometer work.  The 346 flathead V-8 sounds good and the exhaust is quiet.  The 3-speed manual shifts easily and the car is fun to drive with good brakes.  Fairly new wide whitewall tires look great surrounding the very nice and correct hubcaps.  The body does need paint but is very solid. The stainless is in good shape.  The glass is good.  The bumpers are solid but needs re-chromed. The underside of this classy limo is in excellent condition as you can see in the photos.  All the windows work, trunk, hood, and doors open and shut well. E-brake holds. Wipers work. Headlights work. Taillights light up. Horn works. The oil pressure, AMP, and temp gauges work. Not working:
turn signals, radio, clock, fuel ga, heat control is very stiff. The interior is in very good shape.  The driver's compartment has been redone in the correct black look.  New seat, door panels and front headliner. Painted dash. The seat rides very comfortably.  The rear passenger area is still original and in good shape.  The Tan Broadcloth is still looking good and the seats are comfortable.  The rear limo jumpseats are there and are in great shape. You could honestly re-cover the rear foot-rests, paint the car, re-chrome the bumpers and drive the car and it would look as it did in 1942 cruising through New York.
( it was originally delivered to New York, NY.)
Ride around in true art-deco style in your very cool, very rare, 1942 Cadillac Limousine.  Sold in as-is condition. No warranty. Inspection available.
