    Description

You are bidding on a very original LaSalle 36-50 4 door sedan. This car is a real "time capsule",as it wears it's original factory paint, and has only covered a little over 21,000 miles in it's 86 year history. As the saying goes,"they are only original once"!
    Here are the details:
This car was purchased by me last year from a Cadillac dealer in Ohio that had used it for promotional purposes. They had purchased it from the family of the original owner. The dealership had installed a new brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders,as well as flexible brake lines. They also installed an electric fuel pump.
After I had the car shipped to me I did the following.Changed engine oil, flushed coolant system, and added new antifreeze.Installed new spark plugs, along with a new battery.
The car starts right up,and the original straight eight engine comes to a smooth idle within minutes.Runs strong with no smoke or strange noises.Shifts through the 3 speed manual transmission with no issues.Drives & handles great. All gauges, lights work great. The clock is currently not working.
The car wears it's original paint which shows great considering it is 86 years old.The front driver's side fender was resprayed at one point from the outer edge to slightly past the mid point towards the cowl. The passenger side front fender has some spots on it where it appears some type of chemical was accidently left on the fender, and it has spotts in it(see pics). There are also some areas of the paint that have been rubbed through down to the primer. No rust or corrosion. The underneath is also extremely clean with no rust or rot.
The interior is also original, and presents well for it's age. There is an area on the corner of the front seat which has worn through,as well as an area on the floor carpeting in the back seat driver's side area which has worn through.Headliner is solid with no issues. All windows and seals are original & intact. All door handles and window cranks work great.
Overall,a stunning example of a classic car from the 1930s which has survived intact, and still a blast to drive today. Please ask questions,as all sales are final.Buyer responsible for pickup or transport.Should be picked up within a couple of weeks, unless other arrangements are agreed to before bidding.Full payment due within 7 days, with no exceptions.
